The Tippman A-5 is paintball marker that can be modified with almost anything. You can make it look like any gun you have ever dreamed of having. It is one of the best paintball markers you can get out there in the market for woodsball. There are many different upgrades you can get for this marker out there in the market.
Lets start of with the barrels.
In my opinion the best barrel out there for the A-5 would be the apex barrel because of it power to make the paintball go anywhere you like but myself I have a smart parts 14 inch barrel which works great. The first mod for your gun should be a barrel no matter what then you can move on to different upgrades.
Now we have stocks. Stocks can make you shoot a lot more accurate because it b
alances your gun more and give you an eye relief when shooting your marker. There are many different styles of stocks out there with different looks. It all depends what you want your gun to look like. There are styles like the M4 stocks, Ak-47 stocks, MP5 sliding stock, G36 stocks, Dog leg stocks, wire stocks short and long and many others. This upgrade should be something you would consider right after you buy you barrel. It doesn’t just give your gun better balance and eye relief it also gives your gun a whole new look and feel.
Another great upgrade would be your air source. Lucky for you the A-5 can take both Co2 and compressed air. Co2 is the air source most used in paintball. Compressed air is an other source and it is known to be better because it does not get as cold as Co2 and it is proven that is makes your shots more accurate, it makes your marker more efficient and it is better for the environment. We see here that compressed air is a lot better then Co2 especially in the wintertime because you don’t want to freeze up your marker.
Remotes lines are another great upgrade. Imagine having a gun without the weight of your Co2 tank or HPA tank. Your marker is now like a real gun with a line that goes from your gun to your back were you carry your tank in a pod pack. Your marker will be easier to play with a remote line.
Triggers are another great upgrade. The two main triggers are the E-grip and the response trigger. The E-Grip can give you gun the power of shooting Full-Auto, Burst, and of course the normal mode which is semi-auto. The response trigger is a little different. When you have the response trigger on your marker your find a little pin in behind the trigger. When you pull your trigger down it pushes down this pin therefore making the pin move like a piston giving your marker a burst/auto fire. I would recommend using the response trigger over the E-grip because the E-grips have hade a lot of problems. The spring inside the trigger that pushes the trigger up on to the bolt was too weak. So every time you would shoot the gun would never stop shooting. The only way to stop this was to take the air source out of the marker.
There are also different kinds of hopper out there. You can get different size hoppers that hold more paintballs. I have a 50 round Tac-Cap for my marker.
Now for the sights. You can buy different kinds of Red dot sights for your paintball marker. You can get open Red dots and closed Red dot scopes. These sights give you
30 % more accuracy on your Tippman A-5.
Making you A-5 look like a real gun is quick and easy all you need to do I buy the parts and the only thing stopping you from doing this is your own imagination.
